If you ever wanted to take a cruise to Alaska, this personalized adventure romance novel is your ticket.
It's a journey along the wild and rugged Inside Passage, a 1,000-mile waterway whose width and depth make it perfect for smooth sailing through some of the most pristine wilderness on earth. Boarding a luxury cruise ship in Vancouver, our couple visit popular ports like Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway. Bald eagles, Humpback whales, the Northern Lights, salmon, totem poles, and glaciers all enter the action before gold fever reveals a deeper meaning to finding riches.
And here's a really cool part: it's an all-American story.

could hardly contain his enthusiasm. "And we're going to Alaska. I remember
reading about it in school. The last frontier, the gold rush, whales, glaciers,
eagles, salmon."
"You think we'll see all that?"
"Maybe not the gold rush part, but I'm pretty psyched
about the rest of it. And to think it's all still America. I just read
somewhere that the Russians sold it for $7.2 million. Some houses in Beverly
Hills or out on Long Island sell for that."
She loved to hear him spout facts, so she lead him on,
"Bigger than Texas, right?"
"Bigger than Texas. If you put the state of Alaska on
a map of the United States, it would stretch from the East Coast to the West
Coast, from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico. It's big. In fact, I think Alaska may
define the word big."
Ann said teasingly.
"That's just one of the things I like about you, your enthusiasm."
He instantly went to her lounge and urged her to move
over. He situated his body alongside hers. "Sweet Baby,
I like it when you talk like that." He placed his hand on her hand and moved
his mouth to her lips. " I like being with you."
She returned the kiss but did not encourage him.
"Well, don't you go getting too enthusiastic, if you know what I mean."
John slid his hand up her
arm and kissed her harder.
Ann clamped down on it. "Honey,
not now. All of Vancouver can see us."
"So?" He propped himself up on his elbow. "They don't
know who we are."
"That doesn't matter. Not here, not now."
"Later?"
"Maybe later." She leaned forward and pecked him on
the lips. Letting her head fall back against the cushion, she said, "Just look
around. Vancouver sure is beautiful."
He rolled over. "It is. I really like this dock area.
It looks like a big sailing ship. What's it called?"
"Well, I've been doing a little reading of my own,"
Ann said, putting an arm around his shoulder. "It's called Harbor
Place. And the convention centre can hold up to 10,000 people, plus there's a
hotel complex, an IMAX movie theater, and, of course, the cruise ship dock.
More than a half million people will cruise out of this terminal this year.
Impressed?"
"Oh, that tour-guide voice of yours turns me on. Do
more, do more."
"OK, but only for you. Let's see," she wiggled in the
lounge to get more comfortable before saying, "There's Stanley Park, bigger
than New York's Central Park. There's Chinatown, the biggest in Canada and
third biggest in North America."
"Oh, oh, there you go. Who's being enthusiastic now?"
"I'd better watch it, hadn't I?"
He leaned forward and kissed her. "No, don't. I like
it so much when you get involved."
She scooted away. "Well, we'll get involved later."
"I can hardly wait," he said as he moved to kiss her
again.
"Well, you'll just have to," she replied as she pulled
slightly back.
"Are you playing hard to get?" John
questioned.
"Yes," she said, but playfully twisted her body so she
could kiss him.
"Ummm," he uttered, then kissed her deeper and ran his
hand along her leg.
"Don't get your hopes up. I'm still not up for being
on display for anyone up in one of those office building or hotels." She took
his hand into hers. "We'll have this veranda all week." She then stood up and
went to the balcony railing.
John moved with her,
snuggling behind her, pushing his hips into her. He put his hand around her
middle and pulled her body into his.
She tipped her head back.
He kissed her on the neck, and once more her scent,
Obsession, aroused him further. "You smell so good," he told her as
he exhaled onto her skin.
Ann said, "I am very
good."
Again he moved forward. Her body felt so warm against,
so soft, so womanly, and he wanted to make love to her.
"I feel what you're telling me." She turned around
quickly, her hips now pressed against his. Their heat mingled. "And I
appreciate it." She brought him closer and kissed him with a force that told
him she was serious. However, the words that came out next were not what he
wanted to hear: "I know what you want, and I want it, too. But you're going to
have to wait a little while."
"Why?" he said with a pout.
"Because the time just isn't right. Later, and,"
Ann moved her lips so they touched his cheek and she nearly had to
withdraw her words when Old Spice excited her but
forced herself to say, "I promise you that the wait will be worth it."
A smile crossed his lips because in the
20 years John had known
Ann, he'd learned she always made good on her promises.
