WILD excerpt

All excerpts in this column are done in the "WILD" version. Examples of personalization are in pink, such as man's and woman's names, cologne, eye color, etc.
This excerpt occurs as a recalling by Ann of what happened after she told John about how they got invited to the Red Moon Waltz.

Ann’s blue eyes danced with the memory. She’d been high on an adrenaline rush when she’d found John and told him about the thief. John had impulsively taken her in his arms and kissed her, which converted her adrenaline into a fiery passion. They soon ended up in the bedroom, in a frenzied tangle of nakedness and sheets. As wonderful as the tumultuous sex had been, Ann found it easy to remember more of that day... Their passion had taken over and soon carried them to the edge and beyond. They had dozed for a little while afterward.
Ann awakened first, content in a languid afterglow, and nestled against John’s shoulder. She studied the look of his black hair and breathed in the earthy combination of sweat and Old Spice. She crossed her eyes to bring the soft shell of his earlobe into focus. Oh, Darling, she thought, even your ears are sexy.
Still asleep, John instinctively responded to her touch. He curved his body around hers in gentle spooning.
Ann marveled at how compatible their needs were. In the 20 years they’d been together, John had brought her happiness beyond her farthest dreams. She felt she would be content to lay with him like this forever. She closed her eyes and dozed again.
She awoke again to a light touch stroking along her neck. Fingertips tiptoed their way down the hollow of her collar bone and between her breasts, a wandering thumb stroking the nipples. She scrunched her eyes shut and her lips twitched as she fought the urge to giggle.
“Hush, don’t let me wake you,” John whispered. “You’ve had a busy day. I certainly wouldn’t want to wake you by doing, say, something like this.” His lips replaced his hand, and she gasped, her eyes opening wide.
He looked up at her. “Oops, did I wake you? Oh, well, I just wanted to tell you how much I love you.”
