is a personalized novel, a tale of exotic romance and spine-tingling adventure set in Tahiti and the South Seas. Black pearls, black-sand beaches and the black hearts of villains intent on pillaging paradise all play a role. A hot book.
From a luxury cruise ship, the starring couple embark on the vacation of a lifetime where swimming with dolphins on Moorea, showering under a waterfall near Papeete, and snorkeling along a secluded beach in Huahine are moments to savor. During the journey, they find their destiny rests in myth as deep as the blue Polynesian waters. Tahiti, the Island of Love, is the perfect setting for a love story where the action is of volcanic proportion.

glance, the property didn't look all that different than all the lush palms and
greenery they had been seeing during their tour of Bora Bora, but when an
efficient bellman escorted them to their fare, their overwater bungalow, they
knew immediately why the property was so special.
First, was their water setting. Their thatched-roof hut stood at an angle to the pier they walked along. All around them in the crystal-clear, lapis-blue water, multi-colored fish swirled expectantly, eager for any handouts the newcomers might toss their way. Their bellman explained that they were welcomed to come to the main dining room for breakfast in the morning, or it could be delivered via outrigger canoe directly to their room. Ann squeezed John's hand, who laughed and said the latter sounded great. Their bungalow, while small and cozy, was well apportioned with a teak wood, king-size bed shrouded in mosquito netting and a bathroom that featured a tall, louvered, wooden wall for a shower stall. But what immediately drew their attention was the glass floor in the sitting area. "Look at the fish!" Ann squealed, falling to her knees for a closer look. John crouched beside her, the grin covering his face at his delight for her excitement. "Here," the bellman said, indicating a switch on the wall, "is the light. You can view the native life even at night if you want." "We want!" Ann assured him. Once the bellman had left with John's tip in hand, John disappeared into the bedroom. Ann had meanwhile removed her shoes, but stayed glued to her floor spot, fascinated at the show just beneath the glass. After awhile, she heard John re-enter the room. "I think it's my turn to be inspired by our water setting," John said behind her. Ann turned to smile up at the voice that even after 20 years together still excited her. Her smile was returned by a like one on John's face. But that's all he wore. "A little overdressed, aren't you?" Ann laughed, rolling over so her back was flat on the floor, and she was looking up John, from foot to head. She didn't miss a thing in between. "I didn't know we were going formal this evening," she said, traces of her laughter still in her voice. "Oh, we're going all right," John said, squatting over her so that he had one knee on each side of her. "We're going crazy in paradise!" He planted a kiss on her lips and instantly felt them grinning broadly against his own mouth. "Now that's the kind of scenery I like," he announced with satisfaction. "I know," Ann responded. "Those fish are gorgeous." "No, it's your smooth, fabulous body that I was talking about, but the fish are pretty fabulous, too." "Darling, what would the women back at Kaufmann's think if they saw us, splayed out on the floor like this?" "They'd probably congratulate us for being madly in love and being totally unafraid to show it. They might also wonder why the men in their lives weren't such savages of the wild as your man." "Oh, you," Ann said, playfully slapping his backside. "And just what are you doing up there? Enjoying the fish show, while I'm down here staring at the ceiling? It's quite a nice ceiling, don't get me wrong, but a ceiling nonetheless." "Well, flip on over, Honey. And take in the view." John went from being on his knees over his lover to crouching high enough up, flat-footed, to give Ann enough clearance to flop over onto her belly. As soon as she had completed the maneuver, two matching angel fish arrived for an up-close inspection of her face pressed to the glass floor. "Hey, back off, sushi-stuff," John warned. "She's mine!" "I'm getting the heck out of here," Ann returned, "if an octopus comes anywhere near my–" John pressed his frontside onto her backside, letting his excitement be known. "Don't worry. I'm making sure that's reserved solely for yours truly." Ann watched the underwater show while John kissed her neck. He rolled off to one side so he had full access to her. He kneaded her shoulders with one strong hand, and Ann placed her arms crossed on the floor and rested her head on them. She continued to watch the swirl of fish, but she immediately sensed the tingle of excitement. He continued the slow massage down her back, along her spine, and to her lower back, meanwhile continuing the shower of kisses on her neck, cheek, earlobe and the tiny little notch at the nape of her neck. The sweet kisses and the ebb and flow of the rubbing on her back caused Ann to shiver with excitement. "You're so beautiful, Ann, and so sexy. You turn me on." Soon the passion flowed over them like molten lava running down a mountain. At that instant, Ann opened her eyes and saw the two angel fish intertwine quickly in their underwater dance, then swim away together. She smiled before closing her eyes and collapsing in the arms of her man. |
