WILD excerpt

Some time later, John awoke with a start. He felt strange and did not know where he was. Something was not right. It was too silent. It slowly dawned on him that he was no longer aboard the Resolute. There were none of the ship’s familiar creaks and groans. Everything was still. Suddenly the events of the day flooded his mind, and he realized with embarrassment that he had fallen asleep at the table.
He quietly made his way across to the bedroom, removed his clothes, and attempted to crawl into bed without disturbing Ann. At first he thought himself successful as her breathing remained measured and even.
As she nestled back against him his arms automatically wrapped around her. She breathed in the scent of Eternity which lingered on his skin. “Oh, so now you’re awake,” Ann gently chided. Lovingly she ran her fingers through his black hair.
“My deepest apologies, Honey. I don’t know what came over me. You could have roused me.”
“You deserved to rest, Darling. I know you must have had a wearying day. Besides, it seems you are plenty roused now.”
It was true; the close contact of their bodies had awakened his desire. Ann pressed her hips back against him and slowly rocked them, enjoying the effect her movements were having on her lover.
John slid a hand up to squeeze her firm breasts as he whispered into her ear. “Permission to board the HMS Ann?”
     “Permission granted, Captain John Smith.”
With that, he began ravishing her lips, which she parted, allowing his tongue access to the delicate interior of her mouth. She shifted toward him, so she was now flat on her back. He straddled her and kissed his way down her neck. Ann ground her hips against him, heightening his arousal. He knew he wouldn’t be able to hold on much longer and thrust himself into her moist embrace. They crashed against each other with a need that was almost desperate, born of their long separation. With each thrust, they brought each other closer and closer to the edge. Having reached their goal, they collapsed in a tangle of limbs.
