Shore Thing

This personalized book features four stories that transport our couple to not one, but four exotic beaches. It's a sure thing if you like beaches.
Little Palm Island in the Florida Keys provides old-fashioned romance and a spooky encounter. Fiji's Beachcomber Island proves the present is even better than the "good old days." The cliffside Reefs property in prim and proper Bermuda leads to sudden drama. And Peter Island in the British Virgin Islands offers an unforgettable night under the stars.

This book is designed to give the reader 4 different stories that can be read at 4 different times. If you liked this one, you should consider its follow-up, Shore Thing 2.

She leaned over the railing. Tonight, with the full-moon on the darkened water, it was almost as if Ann could hear the water nymphs calling her to come out and play. By day, what lay before her was a wide expanse of the bluest blue she’d ever seen, and it went on forever. By night, under a cloudless sky graced with millions of stars and the brilliance of the moon’s shine, it was like a sapphire bursting white light from the inside.
Day or night, Bermuda was simply breathtaking, Ann decided.
“Just where I want you.” The words were soft in her ear.
“Umm,” she said, choosing not to turn around. Instead, she closed her blue eyes and soaked in the feel of John’s body pressed up close against the back of hers, pinning her at the railing. His usual fragrance, Obsession, floated to her nose. She smiled as he reached around and cupped one breast with his hand while exhaling hotly on her neck. Her robe opened slightly, and the gentle wind brushed across her skin. His other hand joined the first, and Ann felt she could melt into him. Far from tickling, this time his breath, his touch, his closeness and yes, his hardness, drew her in like a starving wayfarer brought to a feast.
John kissed her neck with desire, then her ear, then he sought her lips. She turned her head to return the passionate kisses, to welcome his mouth, its warmth, his tongue. His hands continued their caress, and the wind seemed his partner, running over her chest and down her torso.
Her heart raced and her breathing grew heavy with desire.
He pulled her firmer against him.
Ann ached when she felt his hands leave her wanting breasts but delighted as he spun her around. It thrilled her when she felt them connect with the naked skin of his chest. She slid her hands inside his robe and raked her fingernails over the small of his back and lower to his butt. Eagerly, she pushed her loins against him. There was no denying what she had in mind.
“Quite a place to fall in love,” he whispered into her blonde hair.
“Quite a place to make love,” Ann said before locking her lips onto his. Running her hands over his head, over his black hair, she moved him backward until his calves pressed against a chaise lounge. She ran her hands up his back until they came to his shoulders. In one motion, she slid his robe down so it fell onto the lounge. That his knees bucked did not matter. That they positioned him perfectly on the lounge did. She dropped onto him, discarding her robe in the process. Now the night air surround her, as she soon would surround him. She felt her heart pounding with the wanton excitement of their daring, their nakedness in the Bermuda moonlight.
